We are a group of Hippies who love horses and burros. We came together on facebook in order to unite and put our ideas together to create Action and to Educate the public about many injustices to our wild and domestic horses and burros.
We want to see law enforcement prosecute those who break state animal cruelty laws.
We are against the slaughter of horses and burros.
When we post any action alerts on this page that request phone calls be made to elected officials or law enforcement agencies, we expect everyone to be polite and professional.
Keep in mind that Hippies for Horses & Burros is not really a group – it’s a virtual place on facebook. We are a grassroots virtual group speaking out for the wild horses and burros, the environment and against any injustices or abuse against animals or our public lands.
This is a wonderful effort Afroditi. So glad you came up with the idea to do this and figured out how to! I can’t wait to see all the resources posted here after all the months working on the issues we care so much about – the horses and burros, wild and domestic. Thank you.
